Campbell High School Homeroom takes the Grand Prize!
We had another incredible 100 Days of School campaign this year collecting nearly 34,000 pieces of food! There were a total of 22 schools that participated in the campaign this year. To generate a little extra excitement, we created a little friendly competition amongst the schools. The homeroom from each school that collected the most amount of food was rewarded with a Chick-fil-A breakfast.
We were thrilled to present Mr. Dominic A'gostina's homeroom at Campbell High School with 40 tickets for an Atlanta Braves home game as the grand prize! Mr. A'gostina's class was the homeroom in Cobb County that collected the most during the 100 Days of School Campaign with over 1,200 items. We are so grateful for the hard work of the students and their dedication to serve their peers in need! Thank you to Jerry Nix of Genuine Parts Company for donating the tickets to the Braves game and making this reward for these well deserving students possible!
Save it Forward is an initiative of Alive Ministries, Inc. partnering with local schools providing food and toiletries to students and families in need within Cobb County Schools. We maximize resources in the community through couponing and our partnership with the Atlanta Community Food Bank to serve children and families in need at very minimal cost.
