January 23,2014 - The 100 Days of School Campaign for 2013/2014 wraps up with a bang! 22 schools participated in the campaign, collecting over 34,000 pieces of food for children & families in need in the Cobb County School District.
January 21, 2014 - Alive Ministries has its first distribution to families at Belmont Hills Elementary School under the Save It Forward Initiative!
November 30, 2013 -Alive Ministries receives $20,000 grant from United Way Atlanta.
October 14, 2013 - Alive Ministries has its first distribution to families at Lovinggood Middle School under the Save It Forward Initiative!
September 5, 2013 - Alive Ministries has its first distribution to families at Norton Park Elementary School under the Save It Forward Initiative!
March 26, 2013 -100 Days of School Campaign final count: Over 31,000 items donated!
March 13, 2013 - Save It Forward has its first distribution to families at Griffin Middle School.
January 25, 2013- 100 Days of School Campaign closes with a huge success with 17 Cobb County Schools participating. Counts are still underway!
January 15, 2013 - Alive Ministries partners with Griffin Middle School to launch a Save It Forward Food Pantry.
January 11th & 12th, 2013 - Alive Ministries moves into new warehouse space in Marietta, GA.
December 1st, 2012 - Alive Ministries signs lease on new 4,300 sq ft warehouse space for Save It Forward Food Pantries.
November 5th, 2012 - Save It Forward has its first distribution to families in Area 4 at Lassiter High School.
October 18, 2012 - Save It Forward has its first distribution to families at Clay Elementary.
October 1, 2012 - 100 Days of School Campaign for 2012-2013 officially kicks off!
September 11, 2012 - Save It Forward has its first distribution to families at Sanders Elementary.
August 31, 2012 - The Lassiter High School MID Program partners with Alive Ministires to launch a Save It Forward Food Pantry at Lassiter High School for all of Area 4 of Cobb County School District.
August 16, 2012 - Save it Forward partners with Communities in Schools to launch a Save It Forward Food Pantry at Clay Elementary.
June 1, 2012 - Georgia Power kicks off summer food drive for the month of June at 10 Metro Atlanta locations for the Save It Forward Food Pantries.
June 1, 2012 - Walmart Kennesaw donates 3,850 lbs of turkey for the Save It Forward families.
March 12, 2012 - Save It Forward starts moving into the Pantry & Warehouse Space at Sanders Elementary.
February 9th, 2012 - Save It Forward has its first distribution to families at Osborne High School.
January 27, 2012- Our 1st Annual 100 Days of School Campaign completed with a bang! We collected over 27,500 pieces of food for the students in South Cobb County.
December 23, 2011 - Save It Forward featured on CNN!
December 12, 2011 - Walmart announced Monday, Dec 12th, that Alive Ministries would be receiving a $5,000 grant from the Walmart Foundation as part of their "12 Days of Giving" campaign. Awesome News!!
September 21, 2011 - Save it Forward has its first distribution to families at Pebblebrook High School.
September 20, 2011 - Save It Forward has its first distribution to families at Harmony Leland Elementary.
July 20, 2011 - Save It Forward accepts the invitation to launch a food pantry at Pebblebrook High School in the fall of 2011. We are so excited about the opportunity to meet the needs of more children in Cobb County. God is moving! We would love to have you be a part of the journey with us!!
June 9, 2011 - Rhonda Smith & Save It Forward featured in the Women of Worth Series for the Exceptional Woman.
April 25, 2011 - Save It Forward will be launching it's 2nd school food pantry at Harmony Leland Elementary in the fall of 2011!! Harmony Leland currently has a 68% free or reduced lunch student population and we are excited about the opportunity to meet the needs of these children & their families!!
